Maitri Matters was established in 2014 to bring alignment in approach to how I can support and help people of all ages and from all backgrounds in all areas of their lives.

My deep-seated belief is that Maitri (loving-kindness or unconditional friendliness) is core to how we work with adults and children in their lives and livelihoods.

“I like messy people; people who don’t fit in a box or stay between the lines, but who’s integrity is greater than any rule book and who’s loyalty is stronger than blood.”

RINA ONG-LIEBNITZ

I have been a teacher, mentor and lecturer in the field of education for over 20 years. I have worked closely with children, parents, families and teachers  and have developed a deep understanding of families and parenting.

In my counselling practice, I have also worked extensively with young people and adolescents struggling with the challenges of today's realities.

Before establishing Maitri Matters, I spent many years leading Human Resources and Talent Development practices within multi-national organisations such as IKEA, Club 21, and Ogilvy & Mather. I am astute and experienced within corporate environments and have worked with executives at every level.

Having worked and lived in the United States, I also bring my personal experience of transnational living into my work and am uniquely placed to help people living away from their culture of origin.

I am unable to accept new clients and ask that you contact my associates Greg Spiro or Mira Yoon.
